Teasers

Decided to do some teasers to get people excited for the upcoming comic. I had a lot of time today (don't ask) to work on art and got a lot done. First up is a body shot of Mr. Green in all of his glowing, bonerific glory.

His dick doesn't really glow in the game (it's pixelated out. Japan, duh), but I just thought it was appropriate and easy enough to add. Not sure how well the heads are scaling; it has me worried. I'll look into how to fix this.

Next up, a teaser scene. Here's the original screenshot on top and then my version below.

This is what you can kind of expect in the comics. A lot of reused, albeit altered, art. I cut/pasted the Green and Miko faces and then just tweeked them a little bit. Again, still working on scaling and distance, but not bad, I think. Oh, and I also reused the dick, just without the ground effects.

Once I start working on the actual comic, there's not going to be a lot of sex scenes right off the bat (though I will be working on them occasionally). I gotta set up the story, which means a lot of fully clothed dialogue. Just a heads up.

Mr. Green

Hey everyone, sorry for the delay in posts. Green took a bit longer than expected and then there was the weekend and yesterday was a 14-hour work day for me at my day job. The good news is that I've finished the four basic faces for Mr. Green and I'm relatively satisfied with them.

Bottom right (aka Crazy Train Green) took the most time and is the one that bugs me the most. I really should have altered the facial structure to make the grin more pronounced, but I'm behind enough. Hell, as much as I care for this dude, I could have just given him "shade face" throughout the comic, but I think his ridiculous expressions will make for a better story.

I'm hoping to have some time this week to work on a scene or two. Still deciding if I want to use altered versions of the actual background or just quickly mock them up in Inkspace. Guess we'll find out which one I went with soon.

Triplets!!!

It took me a little bit on this addition. I spent my weekend with my family instead of drawing porn, but now I'm back and after two mornings of work I finished the concept faces for the triplets (I keep wanting to call them twins for some reason).

Here's a side-by-side comparison. I did each expression with a different triplet instead of the much more exhaustive full set of emotions for each one (sue me). There will undoubtedly be a lot of crossover and parts swapping, as the triplets basically have the same face, just different hair. Since I couldn't find anything showing what their names are, I improvised. Going clock-wise from top left: Sarah, Sara and Cera (why not make this as difficult as possible, right?).

Next I'll be working on Mr. Green (aka Guriin-san). Once his faces are finished, I'll be able to put together a cast card with everyone on it and then start some scenes. Slow but progressing.

On a side note: Stranger Things on Netflix is fucking tits! Check it out if you get a chance.

Ellen faces and a comparison

I managed some quality time last night and this morning to get some work done on Ellen.

Her eyes are a little Android-ish. That's not by design, but I'm not going to waste a ton of time staring at them in frustration. Otherwise I think she's good to go. I show some different expressions for Ellen than Miko, as you can see. Ellen has a different personality, so the expressions are going to change. Expect little variations on all of the characters. Here's a comparison of my designs versus the original, 3D characters by Umemaro:
As you can see, the angle of Ellen's face is a bit off, as are the eyes, but these are simply style differences, which I intend to take advantage of. So don't expect a 100% faithful recreation. For the first issue of the comic, I'll only have 5 girls. The next ones I will be working on are the triplets.

After them, I'll work up the antagonist, Mr. Green, and then I'll be ready to start putting it together.

Miko Body

I've finished the initial sketch of Miko's body. It's not everything I had hoped for. The hips could use a bit of tweeking. I think I might be restricting myself too much to the original design of the character and not allowing enough personal style. So this is probably not going to be her final form. Also, you may have noticed the amorphous nature of her feet. I hate doing feet and hands, so I try to avoid them as much as possible (sorry foot-fans). It's something I'll work on when I have to, but until then, it's blob-feet.

(THIS ISN'T EVEN MY FINAL FORM!!!)

Next I'll begin work on Ellen's face. I've also started the dialogue and storyboard, so this may be the last full nude that I do for a while as I work on getting the story started.

Faces

Working on Miko's body this morning before work. Yesterday I got in some time working on different faces. What I like about vector art instead of my usual ink and paper, is that once I get a mouth or eye or entire face down, I can reuse them. I don't have to go through and redraw her hair every single time and I can mix and match facial features to create a bunch of different expressions. So once I get enough artwork built up, the work will go swifter... hopefully.

Here's a few of the different faces I have for Miko so far:
The top right (The O-Face) is a bit too South Park. I may end up tweeking it a bit more once it's in play. Once I get her body down I will start on the next character, Ellen.
