Lots of work done today.

I covered a milestone this morning by knocking out the 15 frame scene for the first Special Client. I tried out a new method of putting together the scenes by pasting individual poses in as multiple layers on Photoshop. So I have one layer that is Eva looking at the client, another layer that is Eva looking at the player, and then both the player and client are separate layers. I make sure everything is scaled correctly on Inkscape before exporting the bitmap, that way I can have a stagnant background and just make the layers I need visible. This is probably basic level stuff for other artists, but I don't have any formal training.

Oh, and I realized I had been using an ancient version of Inkscape and upgraded. HOLY SHIT! The new version is much easier (once I took that annoying snapping feature off). Gone are the days of having to create and then shape each curved line as a fill-only object, because the new version allows you to taper both ends of your line and adjust the thickness of the curve. That is exactly the fuck what I've been needing!

Anyways, enough with the technical crap, you guys want a peek at the new scene, huh?

This sitcom is about to get real inappropriate.

As you can see, the player takes advantage of his friend's preoccupation with breasts and gets him to cough up a sizable sum to get to play with Eva's. Also, if the friend looks a lot like a reskinned player, congratulations, you caught me! This isn't the first shortcut I've used and it sure as hell won't be the last. I have to maximize my work time, dammit! Anyways, there is a lot more dialogue here, followed by several frames of the actual deed and a surprise ending! And then... oh, you noticed that Eva is wearing stockings under the trench coat, did you? Yes... she is wearing something different than her typical turquoise undies this time. I mean, duh. Special client!

What's that? You want to see what's under that coat? Douchie McTool in the green shirt up there had to cough up a hundred bucks for that, man. What are you offering?

Oh, okay... I guess it wouldn't hurt to give you a tad bit more. Behold!

Did you just have the same reaction as Douchie? Go change your pants.

Still looking at a release this month for the beta version. As a forewarning, this is probably the last big cut scene in the game before release. I'm just going to fill the remaining ones with still images for the actions so that testers won't just be staring at Construction Eva over and over. Or the giant purple dick; whatever your kink is. I don't judge.

Giving you options

The game is coming along and I think we're preparing to unleash the beta version this month, hopefully. As I've probably mentioned before, there won't be any animations to this one and it won't be in Flash. My coder worked this all up in Unity and I'm pretty happy with it as far as a free game is concerned.

I'm still missing plenty of artwork for cutscenes and events, etc. but I'll at least have enough artwork ready for players to get a good sense of the game before they start running into "Construction Worker Eva" a lot. As for game play, once the player starts pimping Eva out, there will be four overall options for what she will perform, with ascending rewards: Titfuck, Blow Job, Intercourse and Anal. I've even worked up some pretty stellar (if I do say so myself) buttons for each selection.

Added some detail and shading, but left a little to the imagination.

I still have to figure out how to publish this for public consumption, but stick to this blog or the Legend of Krystal Forums for the latest updates.

Construction

Quick update here. I just finished a MAJOR scene that needs to be shown, in its entirety, right now!

Okay, that was maybe a bit over-hyped. I had the big coffee today. Anyways, the above image is what I will be using for all the unfinished scenes when we put the game out for testing. Right now my coder has a bunch of stock photos and BRAZZERS photos as placeholders, but I don't want to use those in the game I present because 1) plagiarism and 2) what if people are more turned on by all the BRAZZERS photos than Eva? I can't have people sending me emails asking to put Ricki Raxxx back in the game instead of Eva. No, fuck that. Not unless BRAZZERS buys this game.

Also, you might have noticed my marvelously artistic backgrounds are way more realistic than my cartoons. Yeah, I shortcut that shit and just pull photos off Google and mess them up on Photoshop. Seems to be what the guys at MNF do, anyways, and I don't want to spend a ton of time drawing fucking scenery. That giant purple dong is all me, though; although it would've been badass if I found a stock photo of a crane carrying a massive violet dildo through a construction site.

And before you ask: no, Eva does not fuck the bus-sized dildo in the game, you insatiable heathens!

First Corruption

So the gist of the game is that the player needs to pimp out his stepmom in order to make rent. However, Stepmom won't just go out and start hooking right off the bat. She needs to be corrupted enough. Good thing your default Stepmom, Eva, is kind of a booze hound.

Nothing says "I'm broke as fuck" like McCormick's!

When you finally get her boozed up and knock her inhibition down low enough, you can take a shot at corrupting her. If you succeed you'll be treated to a (as of now) blistering 22 frame cutscene that starts with Eva walking in on you during extra-special private time.

I'm not British; I just think "wank" is such a fun word.

You may have noticed the impossible dick-to-body ration on the player. Yes, that's on purpose. After browsing some original stuff by this artist Shiin and having my world rocked by it, I overhauled the player's large wiener into a gargantuan, inflated satire of a penis... because fuck realism.

During the scene, you'll coerce Eva into "assisting" you and switch to POV for the first H scene in the game (unless you somehow manage to screw over the landlord right off the bat, you irresponsible little shit!).

I wanted to capture the curvature of the schlong, but it just wasn't happening.

Some of you might be saying, "Guy Gin, we don't need 22 fucking slides of some shaggy-haired, titan-dicked asshat sharing dialogue with a sloppy caricature of Eva Notty!" Well, I hadn't planned on 22 frames, either. Shit just happens, man. I'm a writer first; artist second and most games have shit for story. I have a shot of hands feeling her up under her bra that took fucking forever to create. I didn't need that shot for the game to make sense, but dammit, we need more H dealing with underwear in my opinion.

Maybe the blowjob scene will be shorter, but probably not because I think I'm going to stage it in a clothing store dressing room. Hell yeah!

P.S. Thanks to the guy on the forums who said I should add a shadow behind Eva on the bed. It DOES add some perspective! And most importantly, it didn't take a lot of effort.

Filler Images

We're getting closer and closer to going live with Beta Testing. My coder and I are still working out how we will upload the game as he's making it in Unity. Worst case, it will be a download. I'll be asking for bugs and critiques on the Legend of Krystal Forums. He tells me the game is pretty much ready, I just need to get more artwork in to replace his filler images. Luckily I have a big break from work coming up next week, so hopefully I can crank out enough to get this game going.

Opening sequences and Landlord

I created an opening sequence for the game to explain what is going on with the player and the step mom. It's comical, so hopefully players find the hilarity. Sometimes my humor is hit and miss. My coder is hard at work cranking out versions and then tweeking. His placeholder images have really motivated me to get more artwork cranked out. I'm going to stay up late tomorrow and really dig in.
